Insurance:
I am an out-of-network provider for all insurance companies. You may be eligible for partial reimbursement from your insurance. If you would like to use your out-of-network benefits, please contact your insurance company and ask the following questions:
What is my deductible for out-of-network psychotherapy?
Does my policy cover these billing codes:
For Individuals, the code is 90837
What is the percent reimbursed after I reach my deductible?
How do I submit a receipt when Iām ready to submit?
You pay for the sessions you attend, and I then provide you with a superbill receipt to submit to your insurance company. You send the receipts to your insurance company, and if covered, the payments made will apply to your deductible.
Once your deductible is met, your insurance company will start paying you back the percentage that is reimbursed.
Please note that you are responsible for the full cost of our session at the time of service.
*For Professional Consultation, payment is requested up front for meeting confirmation.
FAQ:
Who do you work with?
I work with adults in individual therapy and professional consultation & supervision. I am licensed in WA state and only able to provide therapy services to folks who reside in WA. I can provide professional consultation & IFS supervision to folks from any place of residence.
What services do you not provide?
I do not work directly with children or adolescents and do not offer the following: Court-mandated therapy; Emergency/Crisis response/24-hour services; Custody evaluations; Psychiatric medication prescriptions; Court-involved domestic violence; ADHD or Autism Assessments; or services in contexts where there are significant safety risks, instability, or acute and highly urgent mental health concerns that require a higher level of care.
How often can I schedule sessions?
I ask my clients to commit to a regular weekly appt. time and to cancel only as needed. This consistency is how I am able to financially maintain a small private practice and offer the best care possible to my clients. I am not able to see clients more than once a week, except for occasional emergencies. I also take approximately 8 weeks off a year to spend with my family and am not a good fit for someone who needs a therapist with more availability than I can offer. On occasion, I have bi-weekly appointments available for clients who are not in crisis.
