My approach is client-centered, collaborative, trauma-informed, and rooted in collective liberation.

First and foremost, I am a relational therapist. I believe we are relational beings. Research shows that the effectiveness of therapy is primarily based on the therapeutic relationship and not the specific modalities employed.

When we experience the felt sense of being truly known and valued by another, just as we are, our nervous system can rest in the safety of connection, allowing us to open and expand into possibilities of deeper self-awareness and self-connection.

I hold the belief that you already possess everything you need to heal.

My work is to facilitate the unburdening of constraints that block your access to your wholeness.

By honoring the innate intelligence and strength within, we can access transformation and wholeness to expand through and beyond the layers of wounding, trauma, and internalized oppression. Just as the body holds the wisdom it needs to heal from injury, the Self knows how to heal the emotional body of pain and suffering.

I believe that the healing we do creates greater peace not only for ourselves but for those around us, those who have come before us, and those who come after us.

The Container I Provide

  • I honor that you’re the expert on yourself.

  • I attune my approach to meet you where you are.

  • I empower you to set the pace by recognizing what feels safe and attentive for you at all times, and to cultivate self-compassion in place of self-judgment.

  • I hold an unshakeable knowing of your core goodness while maintaining a non-judgmental presence and a fierce commitment to your sovereignty and Self-leadership.

  • I’m committed to your thriving!

  • I will be honest with you, expressing my curiosity, my care, and my concerns. I will do more than just reflect back what I hear you say.

  • I am committed to tracking your story and the internal & external systems of your life and inviting you into deepening your exploration.

  • I honor that we are contextual beings, and I am deeply committed to working from an intersectional and anti-oppressive lens.

  • I strive to be aware of the physical, social, economic, political and institutional forces that cause psychological oppression and impact mental health, including the similarities or differences that exist between us.

  • I strive to co-create healing space where you can be your full self. This includes the ways you may identify or be exploring your identities.

  • I offer guidance, tools, and a protected space to slow down, identify and unlearn patterns that no longer serve you.

  • I am deeply committed to my own work, to the authentic exploration of my own heart, and my continued growth and evolution.

  • I draw from an eclectic range of lenses: Feminist, Liberatory, Eco-Depth, Gestalt/parts work, Existential, Family Systems, and Narrative.
